Our work at Alley Pond Park
my name is Lawrence. haitigate phragmites growth in a pond in Northern Alley Pond Park, right near the creek. What are phragmites ? Phragmites are a family of grasses in which there's one species that terrorizes native American wildlife and flora, and pens to be the one that we see by far the most in our country. Phragmites australis australis was brought over from the Old Worldand it does very well in the new environment at the expense of everything else. crowds out native plants, grows all over water bodies, deestroying old well-functioning habitat. is plant is very hard to handle
